What is Escape Barcelona?

Escape Barcelona is a real live escape game, in which a group of people have 60 minutes to escape from a themed place.

What is an escape room?

An Escape Room is a game in which a group of people have to get out of a place in a given time, solving puzzles and enigmas.

How many people can play?

We have several games with different capabilities each.
Pharaoh's Curse and The Lost Temple accept 2-6 players, exceptionally 6.
In the case of Jurassic Land 4-10 players
Alien Origin 4 to 10 players
Tomb Hunter : Akasha´s Legend from 2 to 6 players.

I don't know how many people we are going to be, how do I make the reservation?

You can make the reservation for the minimum number of players and the day of the activity depending on who you are, we will regulate the price.

Why do you put "not recommended exception" in some number of players?

Because although it is allowed to play, it is an exception that is not recommended. We believe that you will enjoy the experience more with a smaller number of participants. However, it is allowed, but you must take it into account when playing.

Can you play more than the maximum number of people you put in each game?

Escape Barcelona and its games are designed for groups of a certain size, IT WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED UNDER ANY CONCEPT that more players enter than those established.

Is there an age limit?

The game is recommended for people over 16 years of age, they can attend from 16 years of age alone and minors accompanied by an adult. In the case of the Escape Room Jurassic Land, at least 4 adults must come or request the service additional Game Master within the game, contact us for more information.

Is any physical condition needed?

For Alien: the origin and Tomb Hunter : Akasha´s Legend physical agility is required, since you have to be able to bend over and push yourself up above the waist.
For all other Escape Room games, physical agility is not required.

Which clothes is convenient to play with?

We recommend that you dress comfortably.
Although in the case of Pharaoh's Curse, The Lost Temple and Jurassic Land there is no physical exercise and therefore, you can go dressed as you usually do. In the case of Tomb Hunter : Akasha´s Legend it is recommended to bring clothes that can get stained due to the sand.

What if I have claustrophobia?

In Escape Barcelona there is always a person watching, and in addition, all the games have a key or panic button, accessible at all times for the players.

How do I make the reservation?

You must go to the Booking of our website, there you will find a calendar with dates and times available. If it is green, that hour is free and you can make a reservation.

Is it possible to pay by card at your facilities?

Yes, we accept card and cash payment.

What happens if I want to cancel my reservation and get my money back?

UNDER NO CONCEPT WILL ANY MONEY REFUNDS BE MADE (OR BY FORCE MAJEURE). At the time of accepting the reservation, the condition is accepted that in no case will money be refunded. If you want to change your reservation you must Contact us by e-mail at info@escapebarcelona.com, 72 hours before the reservation date and time.

Can I change my reservation to another day or time?

As long as you notify us 72 HOURS IN ADVANCE, we make date changes, after this period we do not accept changes or refunds (even not due to force majeure). In this case, you must contact us by e-mail at info@ escapebarcelona.com indicating the reservation number, along with the name and surnames, 72 hours in advance. We will make the change manually.

If the person who made the reservation does not come, can other people play instead?

Other people can play, but it is important that you notify us by e-mail or telephone, indicating the name of the person who will attend.

What is the difference between the five rooms of Escape Room?

They are games with different themes and different tests. You can contact us for more information.

What happens if a person decides to leave the game while we are playing?

At all times there is a person from the Escape Barcelona team outside following the game and providing support if needed. If a person needs to leave, they can do so, while the rest of the team remains inside until the end of the game. That person who has left, will not be able to go back in. However, if there is an emergency and a person is unwell, you have at your disposal an emergency key or button that allows you to open the exit door, ending the game.

I'm not going to enter, can I watch the game from the control room?

Unfortunately this is not possible, our control room is only accessible to company personnel and is not enabled for this service.

Is everyone beat the game?

No, an Escape Room is a game of intelligence and skill and not everyone is capable of overcoming it in the established time, but we assure you that even if you don't leave on time, the fun is guaranteed.

What happens if we can't get out in 60 minutes?

In case of participating in the game and not getting out in the established 60 minutes, it will be considered that the activity has been carried out and the game is finished, maybe next time there will be better luck!

Escape Room for children

Escape Room Barcelona for children : We have an escape room for children, they must always be accompanied by an adult.
Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult at Pharaoh's Curse and The Lost Temple.
In the case of Jurassic Land , there must be as many children as adults in the game. There is also the possibility that the GameMaster enters with children within the game, will guide and help them within the character of the story. This extra service has an additional price.
A Tomb Hunter : Akasha´s Legend they can come from 12 years, but keep in mind that it is a game of tension and can scare them.
A CyberCity 2049 they can come from 12 years accompanied but keep in mind that it is an unscrupulous city where there can be things +18 and bad words.

In any case, if at any time a child wants to leave, they must do so accompanied by an adult and it will not be possible to wait inside the facilities, since we do not have adequate space for it.

Do you have a room for parties, meetings or celebrations?

In our facilities you will only find our adventures, but we do not have space for parties, meetings or celebrations.
